Description of the investment

RADPOL S.A. supplier of RC MULTIsafe® 2L gas pipes for another investment, this time in Toruń. The gas pipeline running along the following streets: Fosa Staromiejska, Adama Mickiewicza and Jana Pawła II has been modernized. In it’s place, a new gas pipeline was laid. The investor and contractor chose a proven and safe solution from Radpol – RC MULTIsafe® 2L pipes.

RC MULTIsafe® gas pipes fully comply with the PSG guidelines for the design and construction of polyethylene gas pipelines. They are particularly recommended for laying using trenchless methods (e.g. HDD or narrow-trench method: plowing). The assumed technical durability of the pipeline is over 100 years.

The work on the project has been divided into several stages due to the difficult location conditions. The investment takes place in the very center of Toruń’s Old Town.

The specific location of the investment required perfect planning of works and timely deliveries of pipes. Therefore, most of the work took place after the traffic rush hour in the center of Toruń.
