Radpol introduces an 800mm radiation crosslinked joint

– Radiation crosslinked products that are made in our factory have the shape memory, so that they can be shrinked if proper heat is used and they get the shape of the element that it is shrinked on. This property has special meaning at district heating as radiation crosslinked joints adhere ideally to the pipe casing which assures exceptional durability and leakproofness. Its advantage against electro-welded joints has been appreciated in numerous district heating projects across Europe.
