The entrepreneur received aid under the government program called: “Assistance for the energy-intensive industry related to the prices of natural gas and electricity in 2023.”
Program “Aid for energy-intensive industries related to natural gas and electricity prices in 2023” was developed on the basis of the Act of September 29, 2022 on the principles of implementing support programs for entrepreneurs in connection with the situation on the energy market in 2022-2024.
Due to the constant problem of drastic increases in the costs of electricity and natural gas, on October 24, 2023, the Prime Minister signed a resolution of the Council of Ministers amending the program “Aid for energy-intensive industries related to prices of natural gas and electricity in 2023”. The introduced changes adapt the program to the decision of the European Commission, confirming its compliance with the rules of state aid in the EU common market.
Assistance was provided to 307 entrepreneurs.
Assistance will be provided to companies by the Minister of Development and Technology, and the program operator will be the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW).
