Description of the investment
Stadtwerke Rastatt expands its heating network by 4-5 km every year. This project is part of the expansion of the district heating network. The aim of expanding the heating network is to regulate CO² emissions and achieve CO² neutrality in the future.
The expansion of the heating network in Rastatt is a key project implemented by Stadtwerke Rastatt GmbH, aimed at increasing the efficiency of heat supply to apartments, public institutions and industrial areas. The use of modern technological solutions allows for effective regulation of CO² emissions, which brings the city closer to achieving carbon neutrality.
The project used advanced technologies and the highest quality products, including 300 meters of KMR DN 125/DA 500 double pipe and 150 meters of KMR DN 50/DA 250 double pipe. The project also includes various KMR branches, KMR bends, KMR shut-off fittings and joints. heat-shrinkable, radiation-cross-linked from DA 500 to DA 250. Additionally, pre-insulated compensators are used, which ensures optimal operation of the system at an operating temperature of up to 130°C.
The expansion of the district heating network in Rastatt is part of a larger plan under which Stadtwerke Rastatt GmbH increases the length of the network by 4-5 km each year. Thanks to these activities, the city gains energy efficiency, which has a direct impact on the quality of life of residents and environmental protection.
By supporting this investment, we become part of Rastatt’s ecological transformation, striving for sustainable development and CO² neutrality. This is another step in building a future in which modern technologies are combined with care for the planet.
Completion of the works is planned for the end of October 2024, which will allow for the quick implementation of new solutions and further modernization of the municipal heating network.
