Radpol Pipes joins Elydan Group

French industrial group Elydan has become a strategic investor in Radpol Pipes. By joining an international industrial group, Radpol Pipes gains new opportunities to accelerate its development in Poland and across Europe. The company will retain its brand, industrial site in Poland, teams and local management. Elydan also plans to support its further development, including investments aimed at expanding production capacity.

Elydan specialises in solutions for water and energy networks. Radpol Pipes brings more than 30 years of experience in pre-insulated piping systems for district heating and cooling networks, expanding the Group’s capabilities in energy infrastructure.

With the integration of Radpol Pipes, Elydan Group represents more than €250 million in revenue, 600 employees and eight production sites, with operations across seven European countries.

Expanding in a European market driven by decarbonization and energy sovereignty

Radpol Pipes joins Elydan at a time when district heating and cooling networks are playing an increasingly important role in Europe’s energy transition. These networks enable local, low-carbon energy sources, including renewable and recovered heat, to be integrated and distributed at scale. In this way, they help reduce reliance on fossil fuels and strengthen energy independence.

For Elydan, the integration of Radpol Pipes brings additional technological expertise, a broader product range and expanded geographical coverage. Radpol Pipes, in turn, gains access to the Group’s international commercial network, experience and investment resources, creating new opportunities to accelerate its development in Poland and across other European markets.

“With Radpol Pipes, we are adding the technological expertise needed to cover the full range of district heating and cooling networks. This acquisition reflects a very concrete ambition: to provide our customers with the most comprehensive solutions to accelerate the decarbonization of infrastructure and contribute to Europe’s energy sovereignty. It is also a key milestone in our Momentum 2030 strategy, reinforcing our ambition to build a leading European industrial group in these markets.”

Combining complementary expertise across district heating and cooling networks

For more than twenty years, Elydan has been developing its expertise in solutions for the transport and distribution of water, fluids and energy. The Group has progressively expanded its activities to include gas networks, electrical network protection, geothermal energy and district heating networks.

Radpol Pipes adds more than 30 years of expertise in pre-insulated piping systems. Its systems are designed primarily for primary networks operating under higher temperature and pressure conditions.

Elydan has expertise in polymer solutions and flexible pre-insulated systems, particularly through its Terrendis range, used in secondary networks and connections to buildings.

“The fit between Elydan and Radpol Pipes is clear: we can now offer a unique, comprehensive range combining the rigid and flexible technologies needed to address an entire district heating or cooling network, from energy production through to the connected building. For our customers, this means a single point of contact, a multi-material offering and end-to-end support, from design through to installation, including engineering and sizing, costing, installer training and on-site assistance. We are already able to offer this solution in France and will gradually roll it out across our other European markets.”

Radpol Pipes technologies and expertise

Radpol Pipes’ expertise also includes proprietary technologies designed to improve network performance and reduce their environmental footprint.

These include EVOprotect®, designed to preserve the thermal performance of systems over time, and GreenID®, whose HDPE casing is manufactured using material recovered through Radpol Pipes’ own recycling process.

Radpol Pipes also has large-diameter production capabilities. Its pre-insulated systems are available in sizes of up to DN 1000, while its portfolio of PE100 RC pipes for water, wastewater and gas applications covers diameters of up to 1,000 mm.

The company employs more than 200 people in Poland and markets its solutions in more than 30 markets, serving over 1,000 customers. More than 50% of the company’s revenue comes from exports. Radpol Pipes products are used in district heating networks in many Polish cities, including Warsaw, Łódź and Kielce, as well as in Zurich, Tallinn and Barcelona.

Radpol Pipes brings more than 30 years of experience developed, among others, through Rurgaz and Finpol Rohr.

Radpol Pipes retains its brand and local management

Radpol Pipes will join Elydan’s Infrastructure & Networks Business Unit and will retain its brand, industrial site in Poland, teams and local management. Jarosław Żuchowski will remain CEO of the company.

Elydan also plans to support the company’s development through an investment program aimed at expanding its industrial capacity.

“Elydan Group is becoming a long-term strategic investor in Radpol Pipes, opening a new chapter in the history of our company. Joining a strong French industrial group, together with the planned investments to increase production capacity, gives us a real opportunity to accelerate our development – both in Poland, where we intend to further strengthen our position, and across Europe, thanks to access to the Group’s international commercial network and resources.”
